Q) How much do you charge for delivery? A) Standard delivery is £2.99 per order. We also offer an 'Express' delivery option on most items for £5.99.
Q) I live outside the UK? Can I still order from you? A) Unfortunately not. Playnasium do not accept orders from outside the UK, except for Taktifol orders, which we will dispatch to Ireland (please phone us to place a Taktifol order for delivery to Ireland).
Q) Do you deliver to Northern Ireland? A) Yes, except where stated otherwise below the product description.
Q) How about the Channel Islands or Isle of Man? A) Yes, except where stated otherwise below the product description. Please phone your order through to us if you want delivery to one of these locations.
Q) Can you deliver anywhere else in the UK? A) Yes, for most items.
Q) Can you deliver my order to my work address or a friend's/relative's house? A) Only for cheque orders. For security reasons, the only address we can send a card order to is the address registered to the card used for payment.
Q) How long will you take to deliver? A) Our estimated standard delivery time is 3 - 5 working days from the time you place your order, unless a different delivery time is stated below the product description. 'Working days' are classed as Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays and any periods specifically stated on the website), but items sent via Royal Mail may be delivered on a Saturday. We will dispatch when your complete order is ready, so if ordering more than one item, and the items have different delivery times, the estimated delivery time will be the longest of those stated. If you pay for express delivery, the estimated delivery time is 1 - 2 working days. Please allow slightly longer than our usual delivery times if you live in the more remote parts of Scotland/offshore islands.
Q) Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date? A) We have no control over the efficiency of employees of Royal Mail or any other courier we use, so although we can say that an item should be delivered by a certain date, it can never be absolutely guaranteed.
Q) Can you leave my order in my garage/porch/garden if I am out? A) Unfortunately not, for security reasons.
Q) What if the delivery driver is unable to deliver? A) If the delivery driver is unable to deliver, they should post a card telling you that they have tried to deliver. You will then have to contact the delivery company to arrange another delivery attempt or collect your parcel from the collection office stated on the card. If your parcel is not collected within 7 days, it will be returned to us, after which you will be refunded with the price of the item/s ordered (any delivery charge will not be refunded). At your request, and at our discretion, we may send the item again.
Q) If I order an item marked 'out of stock', how long will you take to deliver? A) Please do not order items that are marked 'out of stock', as we will not be able to fulfil your order. Instead, telephone or e-mail us and we will let you know when that item will be in stock again.
Q) I need something urgently - can I come and collect from you? A) Certainly. Please contact us first, though, to make sure we have the item/s you want in stock at our showroom.
